Governmental planning guidelines for differentiated administration of the beach zone along the waterfront WMS
The service/dataset shows governmental planning guidelines for differentiated administration of the beach zone along the waterfront. The planning guidelines are applicable to the 100-metre belt inside the coastal contour. Banning of measures in the beach zone is elaborated with Governmental planning guidelines for differentiated administration of the beach zone along the waterfront. The dataset shows how strictly the ban is to be enforced in the individual municipalities.

COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 1205/2008 of 3 December 2008 implementing Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards metadata, Part D 4, Classification of Spatial Data Services
- Specific usage
-
The service/dataset shows coastal contours, limits for the 100-metre belt and spaces for the 100-metre belt. The service also shows whether the 100-metre belt in the municipality in question is located within municipalities with greater or lesser pressure on the spaces, as defined in the governmental planning guidelines for administration of the beach zone.
The guidelines are applicable in the 100-metre belt along the seafront, with the range as specified in the Planning and Building Act, section 1-8. The ban in the 100-metre belt does not apply if another instruction boundary has been established in the municipal plan's spatial element or the zoning plan. Nor does the ban apply if the municipality has specified provisions pursuant to the act, section 11-11, no. 4 on the erection of necessary buildings, smaller facilities and stores that are to be used for the purposes of agriculture, reindeer husbandry, fishing, aquaculture or traffic at sea.

The dataset is generated with a buffer of the coastal contour in the dataset Primary Data Coastal Contours. The boundary for the 100-metre belt is generated automatically 100 metres inside the coastal contour. The coastal contour in this dataset is set to mean high water. For a more detailed specification of water level, see section 2 of the product specification for Primary Data Coastal Contours.CompletenessThe dataset is complete along the coast of mainland Norway. Positioning accuracyThe dataset is generated automatically as a 100 m buffer to the coastal contour. Therefore, it will have less positioning accuracy than the coastal contour itself. The coastal contour also has varying positioning accuracy depending on the origins of the data used.Attribute accuracyDivision into zones for differentiation is changed when governmental planning guidelines for differentiated administration of the beach zone are amended.Timing accuracyThe attribute **Ikrafttredelsesdato** is used as the date when the law came into force for the area. Logical consistencyThe data follows the rules in the product specification.
