Hydrology - river network

River network database established for our watercourses (inc. coastal fields in REGINE). All watercourse elements (rivers, streams, lakes) are converted into lines in ELVIS. These are linked together in a network with a defined direction of flow. All the line segments in ELVIS are assigned a unique national serial numbers/IDs, known as **strekn_lnr**
