For fritidsfartøy - alle fartsgrenser på sjøen

The dataset shows state speed limits at sea for recreational vessels valid from 01.01.2022. A recreational craft is defined as a vessels that have a maximum length of up to 24 meters, and that are not used in commercial activities. The limitations are given by the Regulations on state speed limits at sea according to the Ports and Waters Act §7.

Purpose: The dataset shows the limitations given by the Regulations on state speed limits at sea https://lovdata.no/dokument/SF/forskrift/2021-12-16-3622. The regulations apply in addition to municipal regulations on traffic with recreational craft which are laid down in accordance with the Ports and Waterways Act § 8 .

Statement: I de tilfeller der Kystverket har videreført fartsgrenser fra tidligere kommunal fartsforskrift, er datagrunnlaget kopiert fra datasett opprettet av Kartverket sjø. Kystverket regulerer kun fart for fritidsfartøy innenfor hoved- og biled, og derfor er fartsgrensene klippet etter hoved- og bileds arealavgrensing. Kommunene regulerer fart for fritidsfartøy i kommunalt sjøområde, og dataene er produsert med utgangspunkt i forskrifter publisert på Lovdata.no
