Height DTM projects seamless WMS
Height data provides a detailed description of terrain and surfaces. The data is established as point clouds from airborne laser scanning or matching from aerial photos. The point clouds are of varying density (point/m2) adapted for various purposes. Height models of terrain in grid format (DTM) with 10-metre resolution are generated from the point clouds.

COMMISSION REGULATION (EC) No 1205/2008 of 3 December 2008 implementing Directive 2007/2/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards metadata, Part D 4, Classification of Spatial Data Services
- Specific usage
-
Detailed height data is used for detailed planning of infrastructure and accurate calculation of flood zones, watercourses and areas where there is a risk of avalanches. Detailed height data also simplifies and improves nature analyses, calculation of logging volume, mapping of aviation obstacles, identification of cultural monuments, geological surveys, civil protection planning and spatial planning.
