WFS Service for the INSPIRE Mineral Resources theme. INSPIRE harmonized for Minerals4EU project - M4EU Harmonized. WFS service provides access to basic information about mineral resources and mineral occurrences in Norway.

The service displays recorded instances of metals divided into group and subtype, as well as valuation of metals area. The data set provides an overview of documented deposits, prospects, occurences and provinces. The service (MetallerWMS2) is available at the application Mineral resources (https://geo.ngu.no/kart/mineralressurser_mobil/?lang=eng) together with industrial minerals and natural stones.

The service displays recorded instances of industrial minerals divided into group and subtype, as well as valuation of industrial minerals area. The data set provides an overview of documented deposits, prospects, occurences and provinces. The service (IndustrimineralerWMS3) is available at the application Mineral resources (https://geo.ngu.no/kart/mineralressurser_mobil/?lang=eng) together with natural stones and metals.

The service displays recorded instances of natural stones divided into group and subtype, as well as valuation of natural stone area. The service (NatursteinWMS2) is available at the application Mineral resources (https://geo.ngu.no/kart/mineralressurser_mobil/?lang=eng) together with industrial minerals and metals.

The service shows objects related to former mining activity from various sources indicating areas that require special care. The map contains data from Direktoratet for mineralforvaltning (DMF)'s internal registry of former mining objects and data from an external source (Statskog - The State-owned Land and Forest Company), and shows mines, mining openings and fuses, as well as safety areas attached to these. DMF's internal registry contains objects where the state by DMF has conducted inspection of old abandoned mines, and does not contain mining areas where others have had follow-up, such as Statskog. The activity zone associated with internal data is a polygon stretched 50 meter outside all objects associated with one particular mine. The map layer for external data contains points from the Norwegian Mapping Authority's M711 series, some of which are registered as a mine. A 200 meter alert zone has been added around these points. Please use the "KONTAKT OSS" ("CONTACT US") form at https://minit.dirmin.no/kart if you wish to give us feedback regarding the registrations.

Gravel, crushed stone and rock dump database provides an overview of sand, gravel, crushed stone deposits and quarries in Norway that can be utilized as raw materials in construction activities. The dataset provides information on deposits, land-use, volume, and quality (as a construction material). In addition, information about quarries on deposits and operating conditions in these.

The reports after exploration on the minerals owned by the State are reporting of performed research work within an area of mineral exploration rights. The reports may include geological and geophysical work performed by the permit holder. The service shows approved and digitally localized reports received by Direktoratet for mineralforvaltning (DMF) based on rights given by the Mineral Act. Please use the "KONTAKT OSS" ("CONTACT US") form at https://minit.dirmin.no/kart if you wish to give us feedback regarding the registrations.

The service shows the last known activity status of mineral extraction sites registered at Direktoratet for mineralforvaltning (DMF), divided into the product groups building materials (superficial deposits or crushed rock), industrial minerals, metallic ore and natural stone. Please use the "KONTAKT OSS" ("CONTACT US") form at https://minit.dirmin.no/kart if you wish to give us feedback regarding the registrations.
