The dataset originates from 10 years' average values of sea temperature in the surface, the water masses (intervals for 5m, 15m, 30m, 50m, 100m, 150m, 200m and 250m), as well as at the seabed. The distance from the seabed with the current model setup ranges from a few cm in shallow water and up to 1.5m when the total depth is 100m or more. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius.

The map shows the distibution of Umbellula stands. Umbellula stands is an Vulnerable area. Different types of sponges, seapens and corals who is the key species in the seven naturetypes who is mapped on the ocean floor in areas mapped by the Sea floor mapping program MAREANO. The data set shows exposed areas, "hot spots", for stranding of plastic along the Norwegian coast. The values are modelled and represent the logarithm of the number of particles hitting land in the simulation. A higher number on the map indicates higher probability for presence of plastic in the beach zone.

The datasets is available as WMS, WFS and downloadable on many formats.

The Norway lobster (Nephrops norvegicus), squat lobster (Munida sarsi) and sea cucumber (Parastichopus tremulus) are the most common associated megafauna.

Biomass (gram/1000 m2) of species found in Sledge samples from MAREANO surveys.

Contains generalized distribution maps of fish species in Norwegian waters. The maps are divided into layers for the different species. Examples for Fish species is spawning area, feeding area, wintering area.
